VERSE 1
There is one who was before the ages
Only one who shone before the dawn
Earth and sky were made to sing His praises
There is one, only one
VERSE 2
There is one who came to His creation
Only one who lived “Your will be done”
He alone could die for our salvation
There is one, only one
CHORUS
Jesus, He is Jesus
Every heart adore and bow before Jesus
VERSE 3
There is one the grave could not imprison
Now in heaven, pleading for His own
One to whom the highest name was given
There is one, only one
VERSE 4
There is one to whom the angels answer
One who was and is and is to come
One whose glory we will sing forever
There is one, only one
CHORUS
Jesus, He is Jesus
Every heart adore and bow before
Jesus, only Jesus
You’re the One who reigns, enthroned in praise
Through every age Your church proclaims
The name above all other names, Jesus
