Not every Christian musician is called to serve exclusively on the worship team. What kind of relationship should there be between the local church and musicians who feel called to serve outside the bounds of the congregation? How does a pastor encourage and lead artist musicians to use their gifts without exalting them? What can artists do to express their music in a way that doesn’t negate their need for the church?
