In his classic book, Knowing God, J.I. Packer wrote this about the birth of Christ: “Nothing in fiction is so fantastic as is this truth of the Incarnation.” The Word of God, unable to speak. The Maker of all, dependent and helpless. The One who held the universe together, held in a young girl’s arms. “Who Would Have Dreamed?” invites us to marvel once again that God’s plan to save us through giving his Son was beyond anything we could ask or imagine. And best of all, it’s true.
