In an age of rampant individualism and self-centeredness, Christians joyfully acknowledge we are no longer our own. We belong to God and we belong to each other, because we have been bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). As the apostle Peter tells us: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). In Christ, God has given us a new identity and a new purpose.

Those realities are the heart behind our newest album, Yours Alone, containing twelve songs that highlight the privilege of being chosen, purchased, and inhabited by the eternal God. They root our thoughts and affections in the fact that Jesus came to redeem a bride, not merely isolated individuals. They explore themes common to God’s people, including adoration, confession, repentance, thanksgiving, suffering, and above all, the joy of belonging to God.

“Yours Alone”, the title track of the album, is an anthemic call to surrender every aspect of our lives to the One who redeemed us for His glory. In light of the mercy God has shown us in giving His Son to purchase our forgiveness, this is our prayer:

“Lord reign unrivaled, within Your people, Your kingdom come, Your will be done in us”
