The future is filled with unknowns. Things don’t always turn out like we expect or desire. That uncertainty can cause the old to live hesitantly and the young to live recklessly. But to God, nothing is unknown. He sees the end from the beginning, and at the cross he turned history’s greatest injustice into a victory over death and the glorious redemption of his people. The future is held in the hands of our gracious heavenly Father and we don’t ever need to fear it. He does all things well. “The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.” (Psalm 33:11, ESV)
